Active Shooter Workshop

Active Shooter Workshop
Florida has encountered several incidents in recent times where local governments have needed to respond to active shooters. Knowing what to do saves lives. Join your intergovernmental colleagues for a dynamic workshop on planning for, responding to and learning from active shooter scenarios. This one-day workshop in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will be offered on two occasions to the FLC membership statewide.

FLC University is pleased to host this training in partnership with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  This training is ideal for law enforcement management personnel, fire and EMS management members, public information officers, elected officials and other management positions.

The morning features incident command training for an active shooter scenario, and the afternoon is a panel discussion of lessons learned from FL municipalities.
