Effectively building and supporting a municipal workforce with the highest ethical standards requires a broad-based approach. There is more to it than having clear policies, more even than hiring good people. Together, we'll examine the critical elements of a culture of ethics in a municipal organization and some best practices for cultivating and sustaining them.

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM Creating and Maintaining a Culture of Ethics
12:00 PM - 12:30 PM LUNCH (Box lunches will be provided)
12:30 PM - 4:30 PM Mandatory 4-hour ethics training
  12:30 - 2:30: Ethics Law
2:30 - 3:30: Public Meetings Law
3:30 - 4:30: Public Records Law


Note about event fees: This course is offered at no fee as a benefit of membership with the League. The course fee for nonmembers is $100.00.
