State-Mandated Ethics Training (4 hours)
This four-hour program meets the state mandate for annual ethics training for local elected officials. It covers Florida's ethics law, public meetings law, and public records law in an engaging and informative way.


 




The 4-hour Mandatory Ethics Training will be offered following our morning session on "Creating and Maintaining a Culture of Ethics" and lunch, which will be served, at 12:00 PM.  The full schedule for the day will be: 

10:30 AM -12:00 PM: Creating and Maintaining a Culture of Ethics

12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: LUNCH - Box Lunches will be provided

12:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Mandatory 4-hour ethics training (first two hours - Ethics Law; third hour – Public Meetings Law; fourth hour – Public Records Law)
We encourage you to come early for lunch and to register for the preceding class on "Creating and Maintaining a Culture of Ethics" from the EVENTS page. 



Note about event fees:
This course is offered at no fee as a benefit of membership with the League.  The course fee for nonmembers is $100.00.
