The Florida League of Cities is proud to bring you Leadership Academy I  on March 11-12, 2022, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South, 4955 Kyngs Heath Road, Kissimmee, FL 34746.  This educational program is specially designed for graduates of IEMO and IEMO II and is focused entirely on leadership.

Who should attend Leadership Academy I?

Open to graduates of IEMO II , this program focuses on leadership. Utilizing the FIRO-B assessment, participants learn to better understand what drives their own behavior and to recognize the drivers of other peoples’ behavior.


Class participants take the assessment ahead of the class, and through attending learn their scores, interpret the characteristics of each component, andlearn how to apply this information through case studies.  Facilitated by Scott Paine, Ph.D., theweekend class also features a keynote dinner speaker on leadership.  The Leadership Academy I registration fee includes all sessions, on-line assessment, a box lunch and full dinner on Friday, light continental breakfast, full lunch on Saturday, and refreshment breaks on Friday and Saturday. This course is offered once per year.    

A certificate of attendance is provided upon successful completion of the program.



Cancellations
    Cancellation requests must be received and confirmed in writing by  to be eligible for a refund. A $25.00 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations. Substitutions are accepted and encouraged. Refunds will be processed after the program. We reserve the right to cancel Leadership Academy I training. If the training is cancelled, registration fees will be refunded in full.
