IEMO Advanced 2019

The April 2019 Advanced Institute for Elected Municipal Officials will be held April 12-13, 2019 at the Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore in Tampa, Florida.

The Florida League of Cities is proud to bring you the Advanced Institute for Elected Municipal Officials program on April 12-13, 2019 at the Holiday Inn Tampa Westshore, 700 N. Westshore Blvd, Tampa, FL  33609.  This educational program is specially designed for graduates of IEMO.

Who should attend Advanced IEMO:

Created more than 25 years ago, the intensive two-day program features classes and workshops focusing on the numerous aspects of municipal government.  Session topics include effective council techniques, media relations, planning and growth management, advanced revenue and finances, and personnel and labor issues. The Advanced IEMO registration fee includes all classes, light continental breakfasts, refreshment breaks and lunch on Friday and Saturday.    This course is offered once per year.    

A certificate of attendance is provided upon successful completion of the program.

Cancellations:

Cancellations/transfer requests must be received and confirmed in writing by 5:00 pm on Friday, March 29 to be eligible for a refund.  A $25.00 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations and/or transfers.  Transfers must take place within the fiscal year.  Substitutions are accepted and encouraged.  Refunds will be processed after the program.  We reserve the right to cancel the Advanced IEMO training.  If the training is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded in full.  A certificate of attendance is provided upon successful completion of the program.
